Hey there! I have some new artwork to post, it's been a while since last time. I've been trying to put them on my official website but my laptop's been having problems with Adobe Dreamweaver...once I get that working again, my website shall be updated! In the mean time, here are 2 new artworks:
This is my version of Ariel from Disney's The Little Mermaid. This was a fun project for a contest held on deviantART, in which I got honorable mention. But the contest wasn't really what mattered, I just wanted an excuse to design my own version of Ariel, since I'm a huge fan of the movie. :D
This is a guest comic I did for my friend Cheri's webcomic, Pictures of Crying Children. I basically took her characters and put my own spin on them, hence the hilarious story of them not recognizing each other and yes, that's me in the last panel with my evil pencil of doom. This was just a fun side project, which I intend to keep on doing; not just for her, but for myself. I will most likely have a webcomic up soon, I will keep everyone posted!

The Autumn Society's Video Games Show
Here's my submission for the Autumn Society's Video Games show. I've never done a Zelda piece before, but I was excited about it! I really wanted to capture my vision of Zelda and Link's emotional connection; I guess it's just the girly side of me coming out! All done in photoshop except for the frame (ink)--I was hoping to do some traditional inkwork for the characters but lack of time left me with little option. Nevertheless, I'm satisfied with the way it turned out for the time I spent working on it. Enjoy!

The Autumn Society's Golden Age Show
So this is my submission for the Autumn Society's "Golden Age" show (golden age of comics and animation). I decided to have fun with this and make it humorous; Mickey Mouse is enraged because he just found out Minnie is having a milkshake with Felix the Cat. HA! So in conclusion, I've decided to title this piece "Scandal at a Malt Shop"...enjoy!
p.s.- I sold my Mario piece from the last show! YAY!

The Autumn Society's 80s Show
So here's my submission for the Autumn Society's 80s Show. Can you believe that out of a jillion submissions I had the only Mario piece? Crazy! But anyway, I basically just wanted to poke fun at the whole mushroom thing and have Mario take a "trip". I used traditional watercolor for the psychedelic background, ink and digital for everything else. Enjoy until next time!

Well hey there! So this blog is mostly going to be for my sketches, line drawings, rendered drawings, and any other nice doodles I come up with. I'm just going to throw in some random stuff in here for pure entertainment, enjoy! This first one here is my line drawing for my first Ely senior thesis project, Dark Phoenix.
This second one is the original line drawing for Psylocke (just the figure). This was before I fixed the face, but I still like it!
The process of getting Mystique's figure looking perfect, I had to try out different head poses and correct anatomy. Here's a few attempts before getting it right.
Preliminary Sketch
First Line Drawing
Final Line Drawing
And finally, here are some preliminary sketches/line drawings/color sketches for Rogue.
First Sketch
First Draft, there were too many problems in this one (such as perspective, scale, anatomy, etc) so I changed it completely to what it is today. This next one is the sketch of the final Rogue figure.
I had her winking, but I soon changed it to her just smirking.
Well, that's all for now, I'll be back with more sketches soon enough! Take care!
